Angie and Jason Bechtel -- missionaries helping missionaries
Jesus Christ said, "Go and make disciples of all nations teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." So we are. God has placed a burden for unreached tribal people on our heart. We want to see even the most isolated people group given the chance to hear about Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for them. God has given us a ministry with New Tribes Mission of Canada. Jason works in the head office in Canada, helping over 250 missionaries around the world focus on the ministry God has given them. It is body-life principles—we exercise our spiritual gifts of administration so that others can use their spiritual gifts in their ministries. |

New Home & New Tribal Christians (June 17, 2009)
We are doing fantastic. We have some pretty exciting news to share. Nope, Baby Bechtel #2 hasn't arrived yet (still planning on around July 15th). Our news is that God has made it possible for us to purchase our first home. It is right in Durham, within walking distance of the New Tribes head office where Jason works. The final details are still being worked out, so we aren't sure if we are going to move before or after the baby arrives. Our preference is to move and be settled before, so please pray to that end.

Go. Pray. Send. GPS. This is the name of the quarterly newsletter for New Tribes Mission of Canada. While Jason's primary ministry is not in graphic design, he does find time to enjoy this passion of his. Here is a copy of the latest GPS that Jason did the layout for.

More labourers into the fields (June 4, 2009)
Another group of missionaries graduated the Missionary Training Center here in Canada last month. Graduation is by no means the end of their journey, but a milestone along the way.
