Jack is from Eastern Tennessee and Janie is from Southern Florida. We entered training in August of 1973 and came to Papua New Guinea the first time in March of 1976.
All four boys came with us, Darren being the youngest at 19 mos. Because we were involved with starting a new work, when the boys came home they kept busy helping out where ever they could. There was always lots of building to do and all four have experience with building since going home.
All four boys are married and we are grandparents to nine grand children. The Lord has been very gracious to us and they have all come into this world healthy. One of our grand daughters came from this side of the world. Darren and Emilie came over to China and got their little girl in February of this year.
We are going to put some of our family pictures on our PHOTO page of our family. Interestingly enough, we just have two grandsons out of that nine. They are great little guys.
We will take this time to thank our family that has been so faithful over the years to support us financially and prayerfully. We are all involved in the greatest job in the world. We serve the God of all creation. He has given us the privilege of serving Him and witness the birth of new believers here in Papua New Guinea. |
