COCHABAMBA, Bolivia: A larger, more powerful transmitter should soon be in place for better broadcast coverage from the Horeb Bible Radio station.
Radio technician Bruce Johnson and his family will be returning to Bolivia from their home assignment the first week of July, with the new equipment.
Since lightning stuck the tower last December, the station has been operating on a smaller, borrowed transmitter.
Horeb broadcasts Bible teaching in several tribal languages as well as Spanish. Encouraging testimonies have come from several tribes indicating the effectiveness of the radio ministry.
Pray for the Johnsons as they return to their ministry. They and their fellow missionaries in Bolivia anticipate some interesting decisions and changes as they continue spreading the Gospel.
