Ta-bey-hey, the Moi people of Indonesia say, when negotiations fail.

When disputes arise among the Mois, with charges ranging from insults to theft to witchcraft, most are settled by the parties negotiating a payment of some sort.

But sometimes the parties cannot agree. Perhaps the offense has been too great. Perhaps the offender’s family is too poor. Maybe it’s a little of each. There’s only one solution left.

Ta-bey-hey, the Moi people of Indonesia say: payment by death alone.

In recent weeks a previously unreached group of Mois has been learning that they have a debt. They have understood that they cannot negotiate away this debt. Nor do they have any means to pay. The only acceptable payment for sin is death. Ta-bey-hey.

Friday morning – this evening in the USA – they will hear that Jesus paid their debt with His death.

Please pray that many of them understand and accept the free gift of salvation.
