So what happens when you’ve planted a tribal church?

In the Philippines, the elders of the church among the Manobo people realized their traditional ways in regard to weddings did not fit with Scripture. So on their own, they have begun developing a counseling course for believers who are considering marriage, and counseling the believers.

Among the Tobo people of Papua New Guinea, Tingon and Rigo are sharing the Bible translation principles they’ve learned with six other Tobos. With more Tobos able to help translate God’s Word, the translation will be that much better, clearer and richer – and will get done sooner as well!

The Semandang church in Indonesia ordained two new elders and two new deacons on Easter Sunday. One of the really exciting things is that, in a culture where being an elder means having authority, these new elders told the church that God is teaching them to humbly receive correction.

Edelfonso, of the leaders in the church among the Kuna people in Panama, recently told a missionary that in his work teaching and discipling others, “I'm learning how much more I have to learn to be a faithful leader of God's people.”

See what happens when you help plant tribal churches by taking part in our ministry?
