Landuma tribe, Guinea (August 19th, 2009): Missionary Ginny Bryant will soon be able to spend more time learning the Landuma language. A friend from a supporting church, Debbie, is scheduled to arrive next week and spend the next four months helping home-school the Bryants’ two children. Please pray for Debbie’s preparation, her trip and her acclimation to life among the Landumas. Pray too that Ginny will make good progress in her language learning.

Landma tribe, Guinea (April 22nd, 2009): Masalu, who trusted Christ when missionaries taught him evangelistic Bible lessons in 1999, has faithfully taught his family. His two older sons, Bagar and Bunyamin, have been ridiculed in school for their faith. Please pray that the family will have a positive influence in bringing others to Christ. Guinea (March 24th, 2009): Colton Rogers, the youngest son of missionaries Kirk and Yolanda Rogers, had his prayers answered and is an answer to prayer. Tanda tribe, Guinea (March 2nd, 2009): Six Tanda believers who were baptized in February have expected persecution but so far have seen nothing but threats. They are now building a meeting place. Pray that they will stand strong should any opposition come and that their faith will spread to others in the community.

Landuma tribe, Guinea (February 4th, 2009): In September 2008, Mamadu, a Landuma man, went missing. His disappearance was blamed on demons, and the Landumas held a feast to please the demons. He has not yet returned. Most assume he is dead, but none are sure. If he is not found in two years, his wife will marry one of his relatives. Please pray for peace for Mamadu's family during this time.
