Tanda tribe, Guinea (May 7th, 2008): Mamoudou, 17, ran away from his village after relatives threatened him for his desire to follow Christ. Pray that he will find safety and security in Jesus. Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Landuma tribe, Guinea (April 22nd, 2008): Masalu is teaching evangelistic Bible lessons to Sajo and others. Pray that God's Word -- and His gift of Salvation -- are clear to Sajo and his classmates. Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Susu tribe, Guinea (April 11th, 2008): The Susu Bible translation committee is meeting over the next few days to finalize some New Testament decisions. Pray that God will give them wisdom and insight.

 

Guinea (March 27th, 2008): A nationwide strike is scheduled for Monday, March 31, if an agreement between union leaders and the government is not reached. Prices on food and other commodities are rising and life is becoming difficult for many in Guinea. Please pray that negotiations can bring a resolution to the situation.

Konyagui tribe, Guinea (March 10th, 2008): Benjamin and Jody Baum are studying the Konyagui culture and language. Landuma tribe, Guinea (February 22nd, 2008): A strained relationship between Landuma believer Masalu and his father-in-law is beginning to soften. Pray that this will give Masalu greater opportunities to share God's word with his family. Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Landuma tribe, Guinea (February 18th, 2008): Missionary Ans Westerveld stays in the home of a Landuma family two days each week to learn their culture and language. Please pray that she and her co-workers will be able to effectively communicate God's love and the Gospel to the Landumas. Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Tanda tribe, Guinea (February 8th, 2008): Eleven Tanda believers were baptized this week after an unexpected discussion on the subject. Please pray that these believers will continue to stand strong in their faith. Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Jahango tribe, Guinea (January 31st, 2008): A medical team from Panama is helping the Jahango people of Guinea. Please pray that the missionaries in the tribe can show the love of Jesus to the visiting team and that many tribal people can be helped medically. Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Guinea (January 11th, 2008): On Thursday union officials retracted their call for a nationwide strike, suspending the strike for three months. In the coming months union leaders will meet with government officials to discuss the issues of concern. Please pray for wisdom for those in negotiations, that the situation can be settled peaceably, and that missionaries can continue their work unhindered.
