Thank you so much for your prayers. Caleb Stuart Berglund was born at 3:35 am. on 17 July. He was 8 lbs. 4.4 oz. and 21 inches long, with big feet and hands, and a head full of black curly hair. It was a very quick and easy delivery. He has been on oxygen since he was born, and has been breathing shallow, so we have been too busy with him to get away to email or call. He is doing well, and all of the lab and blood work has come back negative, and his 2 xrays haven't shown anything, so he probably just got too much amniotic fluid in his lungs during delivery. As soon as his respiratory rate gets down from 100+ to below 60, we will be able to take him of oxygen, and start thinking about getting him home. |
