The need for helicopters in overseas flight programs is increasing as missionaries penetrate more remote areas. This has created an immediate need for a helicopter to train and evaluate pilots for ministry overseas. NTM Aviation needs to train pilots so the specific needs of pilots flying into remote tribal areas can be addressed.

A used Robinson R-44 is available for purchase. Purchasing and refurbishing the helicopter will be significantly less expensive than a new helicopter. The total cost is $291,900, $148,000 for purchase of the helicopter and $143,900 for refurbishing. A new similarly equipped R-44 would cost $345,752.

This project will have widespread benefit toward planting tribal churches.

There are time constraints on the completion of this project.
