The number of NTM retired missionaries living at the NTM Homes has increased dramatically over the years. A number of retirees have mobility problems. Wider aisles to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs are needed. There is also a need for administrative offices and a chapel for worship and fellowship purposes.

This need would be met by constructing a building with seating for 350 in the chapel with audio/visual technology installed. Space for administrative offices to be located in a central area is also needed. By moving the offices and chapel from the current area used to the new building the existing building can be used for the anticipated increase in missionary residents.
