Daily Scripture

"Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord."

Psalm 31:24

THREE MORE WEEKS

Many Tagbanwas are on the brink of believing.

July 3, 2007

by Jackie Fallis

One group of Tagbanwa people is meeting twice a week to hear the Scriptures, and there are five more lessons to be taught up to and including the death and resurrection of Christ.

Last week missionary Ray Pollock taught on Lazarus and the rich man as well as the parable of the rich man who wanted to build bigger barns but who died that night. People who attend regularly are attentive and are keen to come and hear the teaching.

Their thinking has been challenged recently, especially: how they relate to spirits and the spirit world.

Three different groups that total about fifty adults are being taught twice a week. Joel and Gina are two among the group that are three weeks from the completion of teaching. The Pollocks believe this couple is on the brink of trusting Christ as their Savior.

Please pray that the listeners will be receptive to the Truth.
