SAFETY LINES

King Air C90 planes flown by missionary pilots in Papua New Guinea.

June 11, 2007

by Dena McMaster

The missionary team to the Inapang people of Papua New Guinea, who will begin to teach evangelistic Bible lessons this week, is grateful for missionary helicopter pilot Ray Finsaas.

Ray provides supplies and meets general needs in areas accessible only by helicopter. Pray for Ray as he provides air support for the team as well as other areas that need the helicopter for supplies and emergency flights.

Missionary Nate Schrag faces similar challenges. For the next two months he will be the only King Air C90 pilot in Papua New Guinea. He will be on call for all medical evacuations and routine flights to Australia. Pray for Nate as he meets the emergency needs of the missionaries.

Missionary pilot Jim Sims, director of communications for NTM Aviation, and missionary flight instructor Bart Haines are currently in Senegal. Bart will be flying with missionary pilot Mark Mowery for a final flight check before missionary Jim Stewart leaves for home assignment.

Jim Stewart has flown many emergency medical runs and is the lifeline to the missionaries in remote areas of eastern Senegal. He has a regular schedule of flights to bring supplies for the missionaries. While Jim is on home assignment, Mark will fill those needs. Pray for Mark as he adjusts to a new culture and a different airplane.

Pray for NTM Aviation pilots around the world providing lifelines to the missionaries and tribal people in remote areas.
