It takes a family to reach a Tribal group.

Ministry and Family are always needing to be balanced. Luckily , our family has always felt that each member has a vital role in reaching the people in our village. Whether it is playing with the kids, attending an all day feast or being the best homeschool students ever, our kids have always sensed their part in reaching the unreached people in our village.

In fact, the best missionary we have in our family is Gracie, who was born during our time in the tribe. When she was born, flocks of women would come and sit for hours at our house to see her and hold her. Many of them, love her. We had never such an outreach to the ladies in the tribe like this until Gracie was born. She really opened up the hearts of the women in the tribe through just being herself.

Our boys had decided early on to overcome their shyness in the tribe and despite the gawking of curious eyes and laughing they have reached out and played with the other kids in the tribe opening up new relationships with them.

Each of us has ministered in our own unique way at different times and places.

It truly is a family effort.
