In the beginning....

       In 2002 we began our ministry amongst the I-Wak people of the Philippines. Over the years of learning their language and culture they have become like family to us.

In 2006, Geff was able to teach the I-Wak people after spending 2 years on language and another 6months in lesson preparation. It took 9 months to teach 48 lessons to the people. Finally culminating in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Many people attended the bible lessons during that time. Some people would hike 3-4 kms in the dark to come to the teaching.  Sometime the attendance would reach over 150 people. It was an exciting time for the people.

Now there are believers there amongst the I-Wak. There were many hardships along the way, struggles and disappointments. But to know that it was all for the purpose that God could now be glorified in this tribe is well worth it.
