David is from Southern California and Shari is a missionary kid from Colombia, South America. We met in Bible college and were married. After finishing missionary training we came to Papua New Guinea in 1991.
It's been a privilege to raise our family on the mission field. While jungle living has had it's difficulties, the joys have far outweighed the hardships. In addition, our children have have seen God working in the hearts of tribal people and know firsthand the need for laborers to bring the Gospel to those who have never heard.
Homeschooling our children has allowed us much quality time with them. As they get older they have the option of attending Numonohi Christian Academy where they can grow academically and in their relationship with the Lord and others. Our kids help in many ways and are an important part of our missionary team. There are many others also that partner with us for the furtherence of the Gospel. From support missionaries on the field to friends, relatives and Churches from the USA.
