Missionaries Paul and Faith Wyma were flooded with memories while visiting in Bolivia. Paul grew up there and he and Faith ministered in Bolivia when their children were young.
"The memories ... keep flooding in," wrote Faith, "at every street corner and just everywhere we go." She remembers her two small children playing in the guest home and the various adventures that resulted from two active children.
Paul was in Bolivia to speak at a conference of South American pastors. The Wymas were thrilled to hear the pastors share their passion for missions. The group has taken responsibility for their churches and for reaching others with the Gospel. In the absence of missionaries these pastors are shepherding their people.
"The Church in South America is becoming bold and aggressive in their approach to tribal missions," said Faith.
Paul was delighted that his Spanish flowed beautifully after many years ministering at the NTM USA Home office. He was able to express his heart and passion for all that God has done in NTM through the years. His message on the first day of the conference became the keynote for what each pastor shared.
Pray that the South American pastors will continue in their passion for tribal missions. Pray also that many will come to know Christ through their efforts.
