For the past few months, Aurelia and her grandson, Marcial, faithfully listened to missionary Tim Roberts as he taught them God's Word. Friday, they placed their faith in Christ.
It was a real effort for Aurelia to make the three-hour journey each time to come hear the teaching. When she makes the trip she stays with her niece, Matonia, who lives close to Tim and his wife, Janet.
If she planned to stay three days then she wanted to hear God's Word each day.
Even when it was hard for her to understand the new and totally different things she was hearing, she said, "I know God is true and I want to hear His Word!"
Tim wrote, "We have been impressed with her desire to know truth."
The teaching Aurelia began hearing last December has brought her and her grandson to into a relationship with the Savior.
Pray now for their continued growth. Pray too that Matonia and her husband, Lucasio, would also come to trust in the Christ.
