David is a second generation missionary. At an early age he understood his own separation from God because of sin and believed in Christ's payment in his place.
God gave him an interest in electronics and a burden to use this tool to speed up the process of getting God's Word to the many language groups who still do not have it. Following the completion of Biblical Studies at New Tribes Bible Institute (NTBI), he took a two-year course in Electronic Servicing at WCTC. Kristia grew up on the Central Coast of California. She was saved when she was four years old during a Good News Club meeting in her parent's home. As a teen, Salinas Valley Community Church sent her on several short-term missions trips.
On a trip to Venezuela she learned of New Tribes Mission (NTM) and their specialized training program for evangelism and church planting among language groups with no Gospel witness. Following her Venezuela trip, she completed NTBI's 2 year course in Biblical Studies. She and David were married on June 2nd, 1990. Kristia was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (FMS) and Chronic Fatigue (CFS) in 2001. In spite of that, she is able to make David's role possible by caring for our home and family. She also serves the ladies and children of our local church in several capacities. David and Kristia have three children: Katrina (16), Caleb (13), and Savannah (3).
