Daily Scripture

"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night."

Psalm 1:1-2

ON THE EDGE OF ETERNAL LIFE

Pray that the Inanbimalis will understand and believe God`s Message.

Pray that the Inanbimalis will understand and believe God`s Message.

Imagine standing on the edge of eternal life -- knowing you are separated from God and deserving of death.  In the last few days you learned God has come in the flesh.  Men have looked God in the eye, touched His hands and heard His voice.   But how is this Jesus going to reconcile you to God?

Tonight the NTM missionary team working among the Inanbimali people of Papua New Guinea will be presenting Jesus' death, burial, resurrection and ascension.

Missionary Brooks Buser writes, "The teaching is drawing nearly the entire village."  Listen to what some of the people are saying:

One man declared, "This was my big question. If we cannot save ourselves, this One coming had to be different. He could not be like us. Now I see and know He was different. He did not have the 'Adam part' passed on to Him."

Another man said, "At night my wife and sons sit and read this talk over and over. This is not a 'now talk.' This 'promise talk' started with Adam and it is coming true. God did not forget His promise. He followed it with Jesus.  He would not leave us with Satan.  Our true father didn’t forget us."

The Inanbimali man who helps check lessons before they are taught, when hearing the lesson to be taught tonight confessed, "There is nothing that I can do. Christ did it all. I just have to believe that what Christ did will take care of my sin debt and allow me to be with God again."

Pray that as the Inanbimali people hear the lesson tonight - they will come to the end of themselves and trust in Jesus Christ as their only way to be rightly-related to God.

As our family helps you and churches like yours take part in what God is doing - pray for us.  See some of our prayer requests right now: www.ntm.org/dave_abbott/pray >>
