Alex intently reads the Gospel of Mark!
Alex (26) was one of our first students in our literacy class in 2005. At first, he had difficulty holding a pencil but he soon became one of our top students. His motive for learning to read and write his heart language was "I want to read God's talk."
Later, he attended all of the 67 Creation to Christ Chronological lessons faithfully. When we did a role play of Christ dying on the Cross for the sins of the World, Alex said, "It shot through my belly!" He trusted in Christ for salvation. On February 25, 2007, he was baptized in the cold river here in the village.
