STUDYING ROMANS IS SPECIAL

Frank and Kelly are teaching the Abau people from the book of Romans.

October 10, 2008

by David Bell

On Sunday nights Abau believers gather to study the book of Romans and then for the next three nights groups meet to discuss what the lesson taught.

"These are special times," wrote missionary Frank Tertel, who along with Kelly Luyendyk has been doing the teaching. "They help us to see how people are growing in their understanding of God's Truth and give the believers opportunities to ask questions."

On Sunday mornings two of the believers review the previous lesson.

"God has equipped several of them with the gift of teaching and it is cool to see them developing it," Frank wrote.

"Overall we are very encouraged with where the Church is at. The Holy Spirit is definitely at work in the hearts of the believers. We see a lot of potential for a strong church that will continue on even after we leave."

Please pray for the continued growth of the believers and the development of strong Bible teachers.
