A much younger me. :0]

I was born in McAlester, OK.  My parents entered the NTM training program when I was very young, and by the time I was 6 we were on our way to Indonesia.

One Sunday, when I was 8, I heard and understood the Gospel as it related to me personally.  I was a sinner in need of a Saviour, and Christ had died in my place.  I accepted His gift that day.

From 1976-1983 my family worked with the Punan tribal people, in the heart of Borneo.  During those years I got a first hand look at what it meant to live life without Christ, from being involved in the daily life of the tribal people.  It was during that time that I decided I wanted to pursue the same kind of ministry as an adult.

Upon graduating high school, I returned to the States and entered the 2 year program at the NTM Bible School in Jackson, MI, graduating in 1988.  I returned to Indonesia for a year, then came back to MI and worked for a year before entering the NTM training program, in Durant, MS.  From there I came to MO, to finish the last phase of the training at the NTM Language Institute.

In 1993 I returned to Indonesia as a full time member of NTM.  I was there for 2 years, and due to a restriction on my visa, returned to the States in 1995.  I have been at the NTM Training Center in MO ever since then, with responsibilities ranging from the Bookstore, to the Front Desk, to my current role in the Business Office.
