Meet the Alkires. 

Dan and Sarah each grew up overseas as missionary kids; Dan lived in Venezuela and Sarah spent a few years in Panama. Both experienced first-hand the need to present the gospel to tribal people. They met through their parents and, as you might have guessed, they soon fell in love and got married. They settled down for the next eight years in the Midwest, during which time they were blessed with their son Josiah. Dan and Sarah soon felt God tugging their hearts, calling them to be part of reaching isolated people groups who would otherwise never hear the message of grace.

The Alkires are currently headed to Mexico to do just that. They are in the process of visiting churches and raising up both prayer and financial supporters. They are excited about future opportunities to obey the Lord.   This spring will begin their third year of deputation and they hope to be on the road by this summer.  Please keep them in your prayers as they wait, hope, and trust.
