In Minnesota, Bruce Johnson is doing important work with the Trinitario and Yura tribes.
It's not that people from those Bolivian ethnic groups have moved to Minnesota -- though some may have. It's that Bruce has taken some of their spoken word back with him from Bolivia to his home in Minnesota.
Bruce and his wife, Jan, have turned a big portion of their ministry -- running a radio station -- over to the Chimane people. That station continues to broadcast Bible teaching in Chimane and other languages, including Trinitario and Yura.
Earlier this month Bruce spent time in Bolivia recording Scripture portions with Nati from the Trinitario tribe and Inocencio of the Yura tribe. He is now in Minnesota editing the recordings and preparing them for broadcast.
Pray that the editing process goes well, that the programs make it back to the radio station safely, and most of all, that the Word of God blesses and builds up the Trinitario and Yura peoples.
