Last Sunday missionaries Rodger and Jen Enters had a special reunion with the Tanda believers in Guinea.
"There is such a special bond with the believers," wrote Rodger. "It is nice to know that we have touched the lives of some people here on earth."
They were also reunited with their co-workers, Ron and Heather Yearwood and met for the first time their new short-term co-workers, Yves and Cheryl Girard.
The team set several goals for the future of the Tanda church and is beginning to work towards those goals. They want to see the Tanda believers mature and function on their own with elders and deacons established, and they want to finish the Tanda New Testament.
Rodger and Jen, in co-operation with the Tanda church, are taking responsibility for 12 young men. Their parents asked the Tanda believers to give them an opportunity to hear God's Word. The church cooks for them and one of the unmarried men lives with them in a separate building. Rodger will teach them evangelistic Bible lessons. This is a culturally accepted way to train young people.
Pray for Rodger and Jen as they return to their ministry among the Tanda people of Guinea. Pray also for the 12 young men who will soon hear God's Word in their own language. Pray that God will draw their hearts to the Truth of the Gospel and that they will accept Christ as Savior.
