NEW CO-WORKERS, BIG GOALS AWAIT MISSIONARIES

Pray that the translation team will complete the Tanda New Testament in the next four years.

October 11, 2007

by Dena McMaster

When missionaries Rodger and Jen Enters return to their ministry in Guinea next month, they'll meet their new co-workers and begin setting goals for their next term of service.

Yves and Cheryl Girard have joined the team of missionaries ministering among the Tanda people. Yves is a nurse and is helping with the new medical clinic that the missionaries built in the village.

Rodger and Jen desire to accomplish the following goals over the next four years:

  • To see the believers mature to the point that they will function on their own, with elders and deacons established.

  • Complete the Tanda New Testament.

  • A baptism ceremony for those believers anxious to follow the Lord in baptism.

Pray for Rodger and Jen as they shepherd the Tanda believers to mature into a church functioning in their spiritual gifts and becoming involved in evangelism. Pray that the New Testament will be completed and the Tanda people will be able to read God's Word for themselves.
