Senasi, a young man in the Tanda church in Guinea, recently received a letter insulting him and cursing him for his faith in Christ.
The letter was especially disheartening since it came from Senasi's father, who lives across the border in Guinea-Bissau. Senasi has been asked to return home to give an account of himself. He will be going soon.
Senasi knows people who want to hurt him are feeding lies and false accusations to his father. He believes that if he can explain the situation to his father, it will quickly clear things up.
Before becoming a believer in Christ, Senasi was known for being into drugs and other vices. He sees the irony in that, had he continued in his old ways, there would not have been a problem. But now he is having problems because he is trying to follow God.
"He would be greatly encouraged to know that you are praying for him," wrote missionary Rodger Enters.
