Moises and Delfina, Guanano believers in Brazil, are hearing God's Word and it is changing their lives.
They are living in a home built for tribal believers near the missionaries so they can be taught and discipled.
Moises reports that Delfina is a different person. She used to get very angry and when she was mad at Moises she wouldn't speak to him for a week.
Now anger has been replaced with the love of God. Both Delfina and Moises are learning ways to discipline their children in a loving manner consistent with the Word of God. They want their children to experience the joy of obedience to the Lord that they are experiencing.
Another Guanano lady, Katrina, is saddened that the many of her Guanano friends continue to struggle with sin.
"We are just like the people of Israel in the book of Exodus. God has delivered us out of that terrible sinful situation we were in, and all we can think about is returning to Egypt! One day God's patience will run out and when it does, our eyes are going to grow big." That's Katrina's way of saying God is going to do something dramatic to get their attention.
Pray for these Guanano believers as they hear God's Word and allow it to penetrate their hearts and change their lives.
