MINISTRY TO BEGIN

NEWS

Chuck visiting with the Ga`dang people.

May 9, 2008

by David Bell

A missionary team in the Philippines has received an invitation to move into a Ga'dang village to begin ministry.

"Now, after many years of prayer and preparation, we know the people we are to minister among," wrote Chuck and Shannon Talbot. "This is very exciting."

Chuck and his co-worker, Erik Peterson, along with two veteran missionaries recently visited the Ga'dang village and explained to village leaders why the team wanted to live among them.

The people were very receptive and pointed out several locations where the missionaries can build their houses and clear land for an airstrip.

Please pray for the Talbot and Peterson families as they have many decisions to make regarding their move. The Talbots will begin a nine-month home assignment the end of May which will delay their actual move into the village.
