After graduation, our travels took us down to Louisiana to visit with some old family friends, Don & Sondra Tipton, at their ministry headquarters. They head, "Friendships", which takes donated relief supplies all over the world as a platform to share the gospel. Friendships also has an active stateside ministry which includes their daily radio broadcast. Here they interview a wide variety of people who are serving the Lord, in hopes that the listeners will be inspired to do the same.
After arriving and enjoying lunch and a tour of their property, Sondra asked if we'd like to do a radio interview! They had an opening in one hour and offered that next slot to us. We have seen God's provision before as we do the partnership development side of missionary work, but we sure didn't expect Him to drop this in our lap a day after graduation. Wow! We gratefully and nervously said "yes", and although it felt awkward at first, it ended up being a lot of fun.
