During our two years at Bible College, God's desire to reach out to sinful man jumped off the pages of Scripture and grabbed our attention. It was clear that He wants His children to be a part of spreading His message, but where was our place in that? After hearing that there are still thousands of entire people groups that have NEVER heard what God has done for them, we asked the Lord if He wanted to use us in this task of reaching the unreached. We believe He answered our prayers and showed us that this was to be our place in the Great Commission.
We've now completed the four years of pre-field training to become church planters with New Tribes Mission. Our desire is to go to a tribal group in the Philippines and by God's strength, see a fully functioning, indigenous church born. This process takes many years and will include things like learning two languages, teaching literacy, translating the Bible, and so on.
We praise the Lord for the privilege of preparing to go share His name with unreached tribal people! Matthew 28:18a-19 "All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." - Jesus |
