At the Airport:
• None of our bags were overweight and we weren’t hit with any added fees • Upon our arrival at the Houston Airport, we were hungry but it was already late. Most stores had closed. We found one little restaurant and placed our order. We didn’t think anything of it until the person right behind us started to order and was told, “We are all out of food. Only serving drinks now.” • We lost one of our bags, but it showed up at the guest house in Jakarta before I even realized all Andrew’s extra diapers and all of Bryan’s clothes were in there
Getting Settled: • All our paperwork was processed quickly and smoothly • Andrew completely healed from his allergies – even without any medication intervention • Both Bryan and Andrew are tolerating and even enjoying most all the foods available here • And speaking of food, even a yogurt starter and certain cheeses – albeit different flavors – are available here • The Lord opened the door for us to meet our neighbors. First we just played with the kids, but then we were invited into their homes. And all this took place just when we were wondering how we were going to go about meeting them. • I have an exercise buddy. Since women aren’t allowed to walk alone, I was feeling a little trapped and missing my exercise-time. Just when I started moping about it, a new friend called up and asked if I would be interested in walking early in the morning with her. Would I ever!
