Well, like every activity right now, it is an opportunity to learn vocabulary and practice the language, but more importantly, it is also an opportunity to meet the Air man and develop a relationship.
Iwan repairs motorcycles and fills tires with air. He earns 10 cents for every tire filled, but despite his poor economic status, he loves to talk and is very patient as I stumble through our conversations.
Getting my tire aired up the first time opened this door for interaction, and now, I go to visit his little repair stand at least once a week just to talk and practice. Who knows what the Lord has in store for the future. Pray for profitable conversations with Iwan and that he would one day experience true riches found in Christ alone.
