Rich and I met at NTBI in Jackson back in 1982. We were married in July of 83 and moved to Venezuela as associates with New Tribes Mission from March of 85 to May of 1986. During this time Ric was born. Sam was born right before we moved to Kentucky to enter the Missions Institute. We finished our training there the end of 1986 and moved to Camdenton to take the training there in Jan of 87. Sarah was born in the summer of 1988 and we found ourselves leaving for the field of Venezuela in the summer of 1989. In 1991 Chelsea was born and in 1998 we had Suzie. We lived there until 2002 and at that time we realized that our youngest Suzie, who was born with Down syndrome, needed more resources than we had available medically and educationally, so...through many prayers and sleepless nights we decided to head back to Michigan. We are now working with New Tribes at the Bible Institute.

We are so blessed to have 5 wonderful children who love God and desire to walk with Him.

Ric and Sharon were married on 4-08-06. They are presently in Camdenton, MO at our next phase of the training called MTC.  They are loving all their classes!

Sam graduated from NTBI  in the spring.  It has been so neat to see the way he is growing in his understanding of who God is!

Sarah is in her junior semester here. She too is growing in her understanding and that is fun to see.

Chelsea is in 11th grade, and attending Jackson High. She has been working hard and we are proud of her progress.

Suzie is in 3nd grade at a public school here in Jackson. She is mainstreamed and we are amazed at the progress she is making this year! She has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) since 2002 and has recently suffered a set back but for the most part she is an inspiration to us all in her ability to persevere in the midst of pain and suffering! Go Suzie!
