Candelario and Matara, an elderly Western Tarahumara couple in Mexico, were all too ready to hear the Gospel and missionary Tim Roberts was ready to oblige.
Tim spent an intensive, concentrated time with Candelario and Matara on Wednesday and Thursday, even spending the night with the couple, in order to cover several evangelistic Bible lessons.
"We had lots of short sessions and reviews," Tim wrote, "and … when we got to the Gospel they were ready for it."
"It was a lot," said Candelario, "but I see what happened and understand that Jesus paid for my sin." Matara's testimony was much the same.
"They both told God they wanted forgiveness and to obey Him," Tim wrote.
Please pray for this couple as they begin their new life in Christ.
