NEW TOOLS MEAN BETTER TRANSLATION

NEWS

Missionaries continually look for new ways to improve their translation procedures.

June 22, 2007

by Jackie Fallis

Missionary Lindy Drake, who works with the Guanano people in Brazil, believes a Bible-translation seminar he attended in Paraguay will help in translating the Bible into the Guanano language.

Lindy has been applying the new procedures he learned at the seminar and he and his wife, Carol, are convinced the new tools will result in a better Guanano translation.

Lindy and Carol have also started teaching 1 Corinthians recently for the first time. They are putting the teaching materials together as they go and feel it's a needed text for the Guanano believers.

Please pray that the teaching materials they put together will address practical needs that they see within the Guanano church.
