You can be certain that in case we don't ever see each other again during this life, we will see each other again in heaven."

"During the last few teaching sessions," wrote Zenilson, "he always had tears in his eyes, and last night he came to my house. His face was lit up in a new way. He said that he was present at all the teaching sessions and he felt like the eunuch that had read the scriptures, but did not understand them and needed someone to teach him."

After teaching on the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, Zenilson encouraged the Baniwas to come to him with questions so he could more clearly explain the way of Salvation. Many still did not clearly understand salvation through faith alone.

Zenilson encouraged Steven to give his testimony to the others.

"You should have seen the light in the eyes of this man," he wrote. "Continue praying for the Holy Spirit's work in these hearts."

"Sunday many people stood up and shared how God's Word was working in their lives during these three months of teaching, they said they desired to live differently now."

"And all of them expressed that they would like to hear the teaching again," Zenilson added.

Pray for Steven to grow in the knowledge of God and pray also that the other Baniwas will come to better understand that salvation is a gift from God.

On a visit to the USA he found out otherwise and he is now awaiting a bone marrow transplant.

Marcelo and his wife, Rute, have worked with the Kuripako people in Brazil for many years. The couple was recently invited to share their ministry in a church in Denver, Colorado, and to tell of their battle with leukemia.

While in Colorado, Marcelo came down with a cold and it was discovered that his leukemia had returned full force.

Marcelo has been receiving treatments in a Denver hospital while a search is underway for a bone marrow donor in Brazil.

"In spite of everything," Marcelo said, "my heart finds the rest that it needs in the marvelous all-powerful God. He continues to direct our steps. How marvelous is our God, and what immense pleasure for my spirit to adore Him and call Him my Father."

Please pray that a donor will be found and that Marcelo will be strong enough to travel.

Marcelo's hospital expenses are mounting and he has no medical insurance in the USA. If you would like to help with his expenses, please send your contribution to New Tribes Mission, 1000 E. First Street, Sanford, FL 32771-1487. Please include a note that it is for account number 801839.
