Kuripako tribe, Brazil (November 19th, 2009): Missionary Marcelo Silva’s leukemia returned while he was visiting the USA. Pray that he recovers enough to travel back to his home country, Brazil, for a bone marrow transplant. Find out more -- read the story >>

Brazil (November 17th, 2009): Please continue praying for Brazilian missionaries Marcelo and Rute as Marcelo battles leukemia. A possible bone marrow donor has been found but further test results are expected soon. Marcelo is not doing well.

Gaviao tribe, Brazil (November 16th, 2009): Wawri, a Gaviāo believer recently renewed his relationship with Christ after straying for about a year. Ka'apor tribe, Brazil (November 9th, 2009): Preparations are being made for Gabriel and Rachel Nunez to join the missionary team working among the Ka’apor people. Please pray for the couple as they finish studying the Portuguese culture and language and make plans to move. Find out more -- read the story >>

Brazil (November 9th, 2009): Missionary pilot Joel Rich will be taking a test for the aircraft mechanic license in Brazil on November 20. This is the important next step towards getting the flight program in Brazil off the ground. We would really appreciate your prayers for Joel and for the flight program.

Brazil (October 21st, 2009): Please pray for a Brazilian couple -- Marcelo and Rute -- who have been serving with NTM for 20 years. Marcelo has been battling an aggressive form of leukemia that had been responding well to treatment. The couple was visiting a family member in the USA when the leukemia flared up. Marcelo has been in and out of the hospital the past couple of weeks.

Guanano tribe, Brazil (October 8th, 2009): A Guanano woman hired a "chanter" to fix problems in her marriage, but the price caused more problems. Pray that more Guananos would look to God for their relationship answer. Find out more -- read the story >>

Manchinere tribe, Brazil (September 14th, 2009): Last week the Manchinere New Testament was presented to the people. This was the culmination of 30 years of labor by missionaries Peter and Terry Rich and their Manchinere co-workers. Please pray that the people will become faithful readers and followers of God’s Word.

Guanano tribe, Brazil (September 4th, 2009): Mario and Getulio are teaching evangelistic Bible lessons to their Guanano friends and relatives. Please pray that the people’s hearts will be open to receive God’s Word. Find out more -- read the story >>

Baniwa tribe, Brazil (August 12th, 2009): The Baniwa people began hearing evangelistic Bible lessons last week and are asking a lot of questions. Please pray for missionary Zenilson Bezerra to be able to teach clearly and that the people will understand the grace of God. Find out more -- read the story >>

Baniwa tribe, Brazil (August 5th, 2009): For the next three months Brazilian missionary Zenilson Bezerra will be teaching evangelistic Bible lessons to the Baniwas. The Baniwas have mixed Christian concepts with other beliefs, so pray that God’s Word will lift the veil from their eyes and let them see God’s grace. Zenilson will teach Mondays through Fridays.

Pacaas Novos tribe, Brazil (July 8th, 2009): Manfred and Barbara Kern are in Germany translating Bible lessons for the Pacaas Novos people, with help from co-workers in Brazil and their Pacaas Novos friends. Brazil (July 2nd, 2009): The Amazon River has reached a record high level for flooding and has left thousands without homes and living in an unhealthy environment. The water level is threatening the foundations of some missionary homes. Please pray for some relief and that God will use this situation to open hearts to the Gospel.
