(October 21st, 2009): Please pray for a Brazilian couple -- Marcelo and Rute -- who have been serving with NTM for 20 years. Marcelo has been battling an aggressive form of leukemia that had been responding well to treatment. The couple was visiting a family member in the USA when the leukemia flared up. Marcelo has been in and out of the hospital the past couple of weeks. Guanano tribe, Brazil

(August 5th, 2009): For the next three months Brazilian missionary Zenilson Bezerra will be teaching evangelistic Bible lessons to the Baniwas. The Baniwas have mixed Christian concepts with other beliefs, so pray that God’s Word will lift the veil from their eyes and let them see God’s grace. Zenilson will teach Mondays through Fridays.
