| Missionary School Boat |
|
| Missionaries working in tribal villages need a school base to educate and care for their children. The most cost efficient means of transporting students and supplies to the school is by boat since there are no accessible roads to Manaus. The boat now being used is in bad need of repair, and the extent of repairs needed make replacing the boat a wiser option. |
| A 60-passenger aluminum boat will meet the transportation need. The boat will accommodate passengers as well as supplies. Of the total cost, $75,000 is for the basic boat; the remainder is for outfitting. |
