Instructs elementary and secondary pupils in art, such as painting, sketching, designing, and sculpturing.

Degree:

No Degree

Experience:

A love of art and experience in the different art forms is required. Though a college degree would be nice it is not essential. We do want someone who is able to transfer their understanding and love of art to the students.

Skills:

An ability to relate to students in and outside the classroom is crucial. The quality of the final art project is not extremely important to us. We are far more concerned that the teacher be able to develop in his/her students an appreciation of God through studying and copying (in drawing, painting, sculpting etc,) what He created for our enjoyment.

Comments:

We do not have much art curriculum so the art teacher will be given much latitude in determining the focus of the curriculum.
