Our Portuguese course here in Central Brazil is to end on May 30, 08. We look forward to having this year of Portuguese study finished and rejoice in how God has strengthened us and enabled us to progress in the national language of Brazil! In June or July of this year we hope to make our move to the Amazon rainforest and live in a small Brazilian community near the tribal villages. After 4 to 6 months in the Brazilian community, we plan to move into a tribal village. Our hope is that even while we are involved with the interior Brazilians during these 4 to 6 months, that we will also be able to begin learning the tribal language and able to make periodic visits to the villages. We look forward to this next transition in our ministry! |
