Here in Missouri at the M.T.C., we have 140 highly motivated students. The students are training to take the gospel to tribal people who have never heard the good news.

We are privileged to meet with students on a regular basis. We share experiences from the mission field. We can sense that the students have a great passion to become well equipped for the task ahead of them.

Ryan and Melissa Crossett are a neat couple who are preparing for ministry overseas. We enjoy meeting with the Crossetts each week.

Chris and Ginger Mackey We have had the privledge to meet with the Mackeys over the past 4 semesters. They are now members of NTM.

One of the great blessings we experience from being involved in the M.T.C. is when we receive letters from the mission field from missionaries we were able to help train. We keep in close touch with former students as they minister around the world.

Here are a couple of quotes from students we had in our class who are now serving overseas: Levi and Robyn Lenz serving in P.N.G. "For me, missions was made personal through the staff who had first hand experience on the field and could share from their mistakes, triumphs, heartbreaks... We had the great opportunity of being able to meet one on one with (our teachers) as a part of the personal ministry program and really grew to love and cherish their friendship and insight into our lives and their valuable experiences on the field regarding children, culture, ministry, illness, daily life, and so much more... To have veteran missionaries fill in these gaps as the valuable trainers makes the whole training program come to life and gives us true insight on the realities of life and ministry on the field ."

Kris and Mary Jane Howe serving in Brazil: "There have been several times when things that I learned in the training, have been brought to mind. I can think of two of the classes in particular that have proved to be very helpful already. The class on culture shock and the time management class have been ones that I have gone back over in my mind remembering some of the tips and helpful ideas that the teacher gave."
