"Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass."

Psalm 37:5

GROWING AND SENDING

The Tala Andig Bible teachers prayed for Doydoy and JenJen.

June 3, 2008

by David Bell

Last week the Tala Andig church in the Philippines sent out its first missionaries.

Doydoy and Jenjen have moved to a different village to assist Steve and Ros Baird in a new outreach.

These two couples will be joined by two families from a neighboring people group. Together, the four families will seek to reach more Tala Andig people with God's message of hope and life.

Missionaries Josh and Belinda Moffit were excited to see the believers wanting to spread the Good News, and to see the enthusiasm they had for sending out their own missionaries.

"Watching person after person stream forward to put a bit of money in the bucket brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart," wrote Belinda.

Please pray that Doydoy and Jenjen will be able to cope with any homesickness and frustrations, and that they will win the hearts of the people they will be ministering to.

Pray too that the Tala Andig church will remember their missionaries and be faithful to support and pray for them.
