TALA ANDIGS REAPING THE HARVEST

Tala Andig Bible teachers teach in 15 villages and 6 schools every week.

April 18, 2008

by Dena McMaster

Tala Andig Bible teachers in the Philippines are seeing amazing results.

Thirty men and women teach more than 400 people in 15 villages and six schools every week. Many travel to remote villages, enduring difficulties and hardships for very little money.

The teachers have seen marriages change from combative relationships to beautiful testimonies of God's grace and children with abusive parents learn to trust their heavenly Father. More than 100 were baptized when they trusted in Christ after learning and applying the principles of God's Word.

The teachers are at times discouraged or sick. They travel up to 35 miles over rough roads and their bikes don't keep them dry when it's raining, and sometimes their students are rude and disinterested. But they are seeing lives changed as they teach the Bible and that makes it all worthwhile.

Pray for the safety of the Bible teachers as they travel. Pray that their hearts will be encouraged by the changes in lives. Pray that more Tala Andig people will hear evangelistic Bible lessons and trust in Jesus Christ.
