Silak was indifferent to the Gospel he heard 20 years ago.
This week, Silak, a man from the Higaunon tribe, visited missionaries Lance and Laura Ostman.
"It had been a long time since we'd seen him and even longer since he had anything positive to say to us," the Ostmans wrote. "But as Silak began to talk, there seemed to be something different."
Silak apologized to the missionaries for all the evil things he had done and said.
He said he was like a bird that flitted from one tree to another for things that satisfied. He had no regard for others. He found no fulfillment.
Praise the Lord for God's work in Silak's life. Pray that Silak and his wife Marisa will find fulfillment in Him and live changed lives by God's grace.
