Mobilization Ministry at NTM-USA Headquarters

You may or may not know by now, but we have been asked by NTM leadership to not go overseas as missionaries until we can get Bethany’s health up to par. She has a weak immune system and gets fatigued. Since we have been seeking Thailand for a while this put us in a bit of a need. A need to have a ministry within NTM!

We have sought out the NTM bible schools to see if they needed us for any teaching or discipleship but they did not. A lot of the other stateside NTM ministries require a special skill like carpentry, finances, construction, language teaching or field experience.

We had nothing for a while until an opportunity came up to work with the Mobilization department based out of the USA Headquarters in Florida. Simply put, Mobilization is connecting with individuals and churches who want to know more about and get involved with NTM and directing them to opportunities. This is a vital aspect of tribal church planting because many people have yet to hear of those without the gospel. Think of the potential that the church would have to reach these people if more people in the church new about unreached people and that they could actually do something about it. We would be communicating with these people and helping them understand more about tribal church planting and how they can get involved to the level they want. This is exciting to us as we feel that we could do this because how the Lord has excited us about serving with NTM.

This ministry only requires a minimum of one year commitment at a time. This would enable us to continue looking into Bethany’s health without time constraints and give us some experience in ministry. The flexibility would be great. We are looking at doing this but it is not set in stone yet. Pray with us to see what the Lord has in store for us.
