Back in the classroom

School has begun.

This year I am wearing two hats.  In the morning I am teaching Kinder and in the afternoon I am teaching 5th and 6th grade. 

Please pray for the energy to do both.

Pray that next year we will have a teacher for 1st and 2nd grade.  This year the fifth and sixth grade teacher had to move to 1st and 2nd to give them a full day teacher.  Thus, the 5th and 6th grade has a variety of teachers with two of us as their homeroom teachers to give stability.  

I will try to write some updates on these classes as the year progresses.

OH YES! Just a note: This is my first year to teach my second generation students.  I will write more later on them.

Southern Tepehuan tribe, Mexico (November 19, 2008)
More than 80 people were treated this month by a visiting dentist. The clinic revealed one of the Southern Tepehuans' fears. Pray that the cultural knowledge that missionaries Barry and Candy Wingo are learning will help them when giving the Tepehuans the Gospel message. Find out more -- read the story >>
