The Buck Stops Here Thank you for visiting our site. As you can see, there's a lot going on. Below are live stories from around the harvest fields and current requests you can pray for right where you're sitting. On the left is a list of some of our friends and links to their websites where you can check out what God is doing in their neck of the woods. And finally... what in the world does "the buck stops here" have to do with the Marzett family? It's all about responsibility! The term "buck" was used in the early 1900's to mean "responsibility". President Truman had the slogan "the buck stops here" on his desk in the Oval Office. As President of the U.S.A., he believed he was fully responsible for what had been entrusted to him- He couldn't pass the "buck" to anyone else. Jesus Christ gave His twelve disciples the responsibility of making disciples of all nations. Nearly 2,000 years after He gave them the Great Commission, the harvest fields are still ripe! 2,500 of the worlds' 6,500 people (tribal) groups are still without a gospel witness. We, too, are disciples of Christ- and with that comes a Great Responsiblity. Together, let's reach beyond our world, and may we be found faithful with the task entrusted to us. |
