GOD CAN BE GLORIFIED THROUGH TECHNOLOGY IN MISSIONS!
"You wouldn't believe what an incredible impact Internet technology makes for missions! By programming the main "ntm.org" website, I get to develop the virtual tools that NTM uses to communicate tribal missions to more than 8,000 people around the world daily!
"If you received our e-mail updates back in 2005 -- and then again last November with the Canada trip -- you’ll remember all the international travel that has taken me to far-away countries to build web sites. This has included work in Australia, England, Germany, Italy, Holland, Norway, and Mexico!
"Who would have thought that a missionary could travel the world and unify missions by creating web sites?
"Now that I'm back at NTM’s home office in Florida, I’ve been plenty busy working with our new "web team" to make sure all of those international web sites "talk" to each other. And I'm not just talking about web pages.
"My daily work includes creating and automating daily, weekly and monthly NTM e-mail updates for more than 11,000 recipients, producing live video streaming feeds for NTM’s 3,000+ members worldwide, and programming personal ministry web sites (like the one you're reading right now) for up to 2,000 missionary families.
"Another huge project that I’ve loved working on has been NTM’s new 'EXPAND THE REACH OF THE GOSPEL' print and multimedia campaign. We’ve produced a great package of partnership development tools for sharing our ministries with churches, families and friends. Included in the package are display banners, posters, business cards, prayer cards, letterhead, PowerPoint & Word templates, and even e-mail stationery! It’s been so much fun to see God working through the collective talents of our Communications team to create this wonderful toolkit."
SO DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that you can do missions work as a webmaster? Or as a graphic designer? It’s true! Your specific talents and skills can be key in coordinating and enabling international missionary teams to reach the "uttermost part of the earth." (ACTS 1:8)
