Can you believe summer break is already over? Today is the first day of school for all 3 of our kids now that Kaitlyn is a big 5-year-old kindergartener!
Our "man-of-excellence" Drew (8 yrs. old next month) is in the 2nd grade. And the beautiful 9-year-old Alexandria is now in 4th grade. They're all so excited and ready to enjoy their friends at school! (click to see pictures taken today)
KIDS FLY THE KODIAK PLANE Well, at least pretend flying. :)
We had a great time trying out the brand new plane that's been designed from the ground up to fly into rough tribal locations around the world.
ALEX'S SEIZURES PERSIST So many people have been praying for Alexandria to be healed from her seizure disorder -- and we know that God has a plan -- but for now that plan still includes Alex suffering from the tiring effects of her seizures every day and night. Most recently she's been having one seizure right after supper (while awake), one seizure just after going to sleep, and then at least two more seizures throughout the night.
KRISTI'S NEW LINE OF WORK Even though the house is now empty of children during school hours, Kristi finds herself busier than ever. She has become a "doula" in high demand as she visits women at their homes and in hospitals as a professional birthing coach and advisor. This has been very enjoyable for her and has also opened other doors for work and ministry.
ANDY'S MULTIPLICATION FACTOR It always seems like we don't have enough time or people to implement new technologies around the world. But that may be changing now!
New missionaries and volunteers are joining our team from California, S. Carolina, and even Brazil! And we hope to soon begin planning an international missions-technology summit, too. So please pray for wisdom with emails and project organization as we work together on global projects.
PRAYER REQUESTS - pray for all 3 kids as they go back to school this week - pray for God to be glorified through Alex's seizures, whether by healing her or by working through her in other ways - pray for Kristi's new work and ministry with pregnant women in the Orlando area - pray for Andy's role helping to coordinate technology projects with numerous co-workers around the world
