On the ministry side of things, this update was sent via e-mail to more than 500 people through a simple but high-tech online system like what we're developing as a tool for all NTM missionaries. This latest project will help missionaries around the world easily send important updates about what God is doing to build His church -- even from the remotest of tribal locations!
And speaking of tribal locations, my co-workers Macon Hare, Ian Fallis and Regina Sullivan are flying to Indonesia starting tomorrow (Sunday) to go into one of the most primitive, isolated places on earth. They're flying literally to the other side of the world to enter the Moi tribe, where men and women are so scantily clothed that most photos are inappropriate for our American culture.
But our team is there with three video professionals from Nashville to record incredible stories of changed lives among the Moi people. Who would have thought that God's love and grace would reach even those living in a muddy village on the side of a swampy Indonesian mountain?
You can't help but get excited about work like this -- work that God is doing! And that's why I can't wait for Monday, December 1st, when the BOTT Radio Network will begin airing these stories in daily, 1-minute segments. It's an audio series titled "Reach Beyond Your World" that we've been developing and recording right here in our NTM Communications offices. And it's been my privilege to oversee this project and see it reach radio listeners across the country! :)
There's so much more to share ... just don't want to overload you with too much info. But I do hope you realize just how much we rely on your prayers and financial involvement to see this work being accomplished. Thank you so much -- and may God bless you and your family in incredible ways through this Holiday Season!
